One of Brinkworth's very own played the Regional Qualifying in The Open on Saturday 26th June at Hollinwell Golf Club, Nottingham, with Allan Pound as 'official' Caddy on the day. James was +2 over after 13 holes. The group then got put on the clock for added pressure with James achieving 2 treble bogeys. The best score on the day was 64 which is currently a course record. Well done James, there are no losers as far as we are concerned and kudos to you for taking part...what an experience!
