The Brinkworth Masters was held on a very hot and sunny May Saturday with 35 players taking part. The worthy winner with 39 stableford points was Geordie Rochester, closely followed by Adrian Reid and Paul Sheridan. The winning team were David Mancktelow, Geordie Rochester & Paul Jackson. Chris Riley, last year’s winner presenting the green jacket to Geordie.

THE PRACTICE NETS ARE COMING! Work has begun on the repositioning and refurbishment of the practice nets. This project has been jointly funded by the Club and the Seniors with the JMVG project managing. We hope to have the nets completed in the next few weeks. JMVG

CHRISTMAS CUP On a cold and frosty December morning twenty players took part in the final competition of the year, the Christmas Cup . For the first time the competition was held off the black tees which provided a new challenge to all. The overall winner on 33 points was Adrian Reid closely followed by four players all on the same score of 32 so a very tight result. Congratulations to Adrian.
