Due to the persistent inclement weather I took the decision to postpone our first friendly of the season against Oaksey Ladies last week. We have rescheduled this match to August when hopefully the sun will be shining!
Four of us however did play in a Rotary Club Charity match at Cirencester - myself, Jill, Freddie and Sandi. Although a little wet to begin with the weather did improve. A fun day was had by all and Freddie was successful in the raffle winning a very tasty looking hamper.
Next month we have a friendly organised with The Wiltshire, fingers crossed that Spring will have sprung by then.
